Asda sim cards aren't free but they are only 50p so we've used a bit of creative licence and included them on the site because they are backed up by a very good tariff.
Very simply, Asda Mobile sim cards are normally charged at a flat rate with calls costing 8p per minute to UK landlines and mobiles, and texts charged at 4p each.
Internet use such as web surfing and email over GPRS is charged at 20p per megabyte, so you can use the internet on your phone, although you'll need to watch usage as this is not capped as with some other networks.
